Sanatana Dharma

Vihangam Yoga Meditation

Sanatana Dharma (Devanagari: सनातन धर्म, meaning "eternal dharma" or "eternal order") refers to Hinduism’s timeless and universal principles. It denotes the absolute set of duties and religious practices followed by Hindus, irrespective of caste or sect.

Many Hindus call themselves **Sanatanis** to emphasize the eternal nature of their faith. The concept of Sanatana Dharma also resonates with Jains and Buddhists who believe in **rebirth and karma**.

Beyond religion, Sanatana Dharma upholds **spiritual harmony and universal truth**, forming the foundation of Hindu philosophy.

Gowshala

Nurturing & Protecting the Sacred Gift of Nature

Cow 1Cow 2

Ancient Vedic culture gives special importance to the cow. The cow is not only just a domestic animal but it is treated as a Mother.

The cow provides us with many products which are of great use such as milk (food & nutrition), ghee and cow urine (medicinal purposes and useful in many Vedic rituals) and cow dung (purifying, useful in agriculture and building).

We take care of not only the cow but its calves and feed them for their whole life, even if the cow stops giving milk.

Aganya Gurukul distributes the milk of cows to needy people to feed their small kids free of cost.

To feed the cow and provide necessary shelter, regular maintenance is required. We are proud to say that with your support, we are able to achieve this.
